Knitted World

Many things about this world is peculiar.
The most peculiar thing had to be the design of the pillars for various structures. They were awfully conical in shape, with their diameter diminishing with height, leaving the pointy ends to withstand the heft of floors or other structures.
Another unusual thing was the choice of colour used for different structures. There were no particular colours for forts, temples, shops or houses; although they all had a similarly striking sheen that really popped out to one’s eyes. Colours like Shiny blue, bright purple, yellowish orange, lime green etc.
The sky was extremely cloudy, for some reason; no glimpse of the sky or sun, also a no hint of the night or moon the moon in this world.
Once you make your way to the tallest structure- conjoined with a mountain- you get to fight the spirit that is the cause for all the cloudiness in the sky.
Once you get rid of the clouds, however, the thing is clear. The sky is actually one shiny cloth spread over your head, with structures standing straight because various threads from the structures are attached to this ‘sky’. The thread is either made from some thick cloth, or flexible metal.
You realise that everything in this world is actually knitted together. The knitter had created this world for their pleasure, but once they left, things inside this world became to carve its own existence.
